Arts Council campaign launch
Pupils from Derby's Becket Primary School today helped the Arts Council launch a campaign highlighting five new arts venues opening soon across the East Midlands that together will change the face of the arts in the region.
The five venues, which open between this summer and early next year, include QUAD, The New Art Exchange in Nottingham, Curve in Leicester, Nottingham Contemporary and First Movement's LEVEL Centre in Rowsley, Derbyshire.
The children released balloons promoting the Arts Council's website www.artof.org.uk outside the QUAD site. This new website will provide a 'one stop shop' for everyone wanting to know the latest details about the new venues.
