John Hurt visit on QUAD's Birthday
QUAD's Patron John Hurt CBE will visit us on Friday 25th September to celebrate the venue’s first birthday. He will be cutting a QUAD birthday cake which will be shared with customers at the venue at 5:30pm.
Later in the evening we are holding a special film screening of Night Train (15), which has been chosen by John Hurt CBE and which he will introduce at 7:00pm. Following the film, QUAD Director Keith Jeffrey will be interviewing John Hurt CBE about the film with a Q&A session with the audience.
As part of the birthday celebrations, there will also be an opportunity for a guided tour around the QUAD building on Saturday 26th at 1:00pm & Sunday 27th September at 2:00pm, which is free and open to anyone, it will last about an hour and places need to be booked through the QUAD Box office on 01332 290 606.
QUAD first opened to the public on 26th September 2008, and has welcomed 220,000 visitors over the venue’s first year.
