QUAD Derby

QUAD  is looking for talented, passionate individuals to increase the membership of the current Board.

To support the existing Board, QUAD is looking for new members with specific skills and experience. At least one influential business leader and a senior legal professional are being sought, as well as a current practising artist or senior cultural professional with expertise in contemporary art, film and participatory art.

A key aim of the strengthened Board will be to plan the development of the organisation well beyond the inaugural launch, to support QUAD's local importance, national and international ambitions, in the long term.  The new members will join the Board as the QUAD project moves into its final stages of construction, with completion provisionally scheduled for end of May and opening late Summer.

Brian Blissett, QUAD's Chairman, believes that the recruitment programme  comes at an exciting time - with the QUAD project increasingly seen as a key factor in Derby's future cultural aspirations.

He said: “This really is an excellent opportunity for people with commitment and who share our view of the importance of QUAD to the city's ambitions. QUAD is at a crucial stage, both structurally and organisationally. The development and increase in numbers on our Board is vital and the new members will join a talented and committed set of individuals, further ensuring QUAD's success in the future”
