QUAD Derby

QUAD is offering you the opportunity to design the first, limited edition, mug offered through our new shop!

The brief is 'QUAD in Derby' and the winner will submit a design which incorporates elements of QUAD's programme, as the centre for art and film in Derby.  The design can be submitted in any format but should communicate the essence of QUAD as a creative hub and destination venue.

The winner will:
• Be part of the press release for the launch of the shop at QUAD, including a feature on the website
• Be featured on the product packaging
• Receive 2 free mugs 
• Be featured in the pre-screening show reel for the month of December
• Retain exclusive rights to their design after production of the limited edition stock

Terms & conditions
The design must be submitted using only the template provided (Design Area 220 X 80mm). 
It will be transfer printed onto the product as the submitted size and colour.

The rights to the design will remain at all times the property of the artist with permission granted and accepted for QUAD to duplicate it on 100 mugs, which will be sold as part of the retail offer at QUAD.  All proceeds will go to QUAD, registered charity number 1115546, with the full permission of the artist.

This competition is open to all and is not restricted by age, professional or artistic status or qualification and association with QUAD.  Entries will be anonymously judged based on attention to the brief only.

Any templates containing anything but the design will be marked void.

The design must be submitted to the Box Office, in person, post or by email to info@derbyquad.co.uk  by 5pm on Friday 28 October 2011.  The submission MUST include both the contact form and the template. 

We regret that anticipated submission numbers mean that we will be unable to return submissions or contact artists.  Feedback will not be available.
