QUAD Derby

Aspiring filmmakers once again have a chance to see their ideas up on the Silver Screen as QUAD announces the launch of QUAD Shorts 2.

QUAD Shorts commission will fund up to five pieces of film or moving image by artists and film makers from Derby, Derbyshire and the East Midlands. Proposals are open for films three to five minutes in length with the theme of 'Heroes', inspired by 2012 Olympics.

QUAD Shorts 2 launch event will be held in QUAD on 13th September 2011, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm hosted by QUAD CEO Keith Jeffrey and Anna Seifert-Speck of EM Media. The event will showcase the work of successful commissions from QUAD Shorts 2010 and will provide a chance to find out more and information on how filmmakers can apply for one of this years' commissions. The launch event is free and there is no need to book.
