Willow Sculpture at Borrow Wood School
QUAD is one of the key partners involved in a Derby Creative Partnerships project working in Borrow Wood Infant and Nursery School with reknowned willow artist Laura Ellen Bacon.
Laura has been working with a representative from each class over the last couple of months to create a willow sculpture in their outdoor space. The idea behind the project is for the sculpture to benefit the emotional wellbeing of the children and staff at the school.
There will be a grand unveiling of the sculpture next week, and the children have been busy making invites to send to a special guest list. Check back here for more information and photos after the unveiling.
