Listen Love Learn is a weekly creative programme for families with children under 5 years.  It aims to enhance the participant’s confidence, support social inclusion and promote positive health and wellbeing, whilst engaging all participants in fun, creative and stimulating activities.   The sessions are very informal and set in a relaxed environment.

Come along and learn something new, meet some great people and make some time for you. There is no need to book. From September 2014 there will be a charge of £1 per adult.

1st Tuesday each month - Creative activities for new and expectant young parents (up to 25 years) 12-3pm
2nd Tuesday each month - Gallery focused activities for babies and young children (0-1 years is from 12 noon – 1pm followed by a session for 1 to 5 year olds, 1.30-3.00pm)
3rd Tuesday each month -  NEW!  Exciting family friendly session exploring music, movement and all things digital! There will be a baby sensory area 12-1pm, then 1.30 – 3pm, children 1 to 5 years have the opportunity to engage in digital activities, play with musical instruments, and enjoy stories together.
4th Tuesday each month - Creative art sessions for all parents with children under 5, 12-3pm 
Extra week, meet at QUAD 1pm for gallery visit/trip to museum, all families welcome
Upcoming Activities
Tuesday 26th August
Local artist Tracey Meek leads a crafternoon of tye dye!  A chance to produce some beautiful unique clothes for your child, we can provide vests and muslin squares, please bring along anything else you want to dye!  
Saturday 30th August
Listen Love Learn at Sunnyhill Funday, 12-4pm.  Free, fun, creative crafts to make as a family together.
Tuesday 2nd September
We will be joined by artist Tracey Meek to consider what being a parent means to us, and will be making our own paper.
Tuesday 9th September
Baby sensory with a chance for mums to lino print onto tote bags and messy play for children 1-5 years with a changing seasons theme
Tuesday 16th September
Baby sensory and explorative play, this session we will be focusing on healthy eating and will be joined by a nutritionist 
Tues 23rd September
Listen Love Learn buggy walk!  We will meet in the reception area at QUAD at 12.30pm and go for a stroll together to Darley Park.  We will still meet up if the weather is bad!
Tuesday 30th  September
Back to QUAD as normal for a clay based craft session with ceramic artist Elaine Lim Newton
