Listen Love Learn is a weekly creative programme for families with children under 5 years. It aims to enhance the participant’s confidence, support social inclusion and promote positive health and wellbeing, whilst engaging all participants in fun, creative and stimulating activities. The sessions are very informal and set in a relaxed environment.

1st Tuesday each month - Creative activities for new and expectant young parents (up to 25 years) 12-3pm
2nd Tuesday each month - Gallery focused activities for babies and young children (0-1 years is from 12 noon – 1pm followed by a session for 1 to 5 year olds, 1.30-3.00pm)
3rd Tuesday each month - NEW! Exciting family friendly session exploring music, movement and all things digital! There will be a baby sensory area 12-1pm, then 1.30 – 3pm, children 1 to 5 years have the opportunity to engage in digital activities, play with musical instruments, and enjoy stories together.
4th Tuesday each month - Creative art sessions for all parents with children under 5, 12-3pm
Extra week, meet at QUAD 1pm for gallery visit/trip to museum, all families welcome

An extra Tuesday! Listen Love Learn will have a stall in the Market Place as part of Derby Family Funday, an excellent free event with lots of things for your child to see and do.
Saturday 9th August, 1-3pm Build Your Own Cardboard City!
Free drop in session, no need to book
Join us in the Participation Space to construct your own city from recycled materials! Let your imagination run wild as you create your own mini Derby or your own dream city. There will also be a sensory play area for children up to 2 years.
Our family friendly activities are suitable for children up to 5 years of age, but everyone is very welcome to take part. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
