I have to say a big Thank You to @DerbyQUAD who allows me the privilege of watching great films in a great cinema.

I've seen my personal favourite film of the year called Django Unchained, also loved watching a film last week called Cloud Atlas and the third quality film I've seen there has got to be the one I'm gonna review below....

Starbuck is the new film from director Ken Scott and follows a prolific sperm donor who is suddenly told that he has fathered over 500 children. This revelation which takes place early on in the film, leads David played by Patrick Huard, to surreptitiously seek out members of his colossal new family in order to somehow make their lives better. And this idea was something that one member of the group found quite disconcerting, as it was perhaps not David’s place to meddle in their lives, especially whilst he was purposefully concealing his identity.

Local DJ, writer and film fan Gman recommends...

I was really looking forward to it based on the clips I'd seen in the cinema.

The clips made the film look very funny however when you watch the film you quickly discover this is more "dark" than comedic.
