Creative gurus burntprogress brought CDR back to the East Midlands, hitting Derby with a series of music nights and creative seminars aimed at bringing a new community of digital music makers together to network and collaborate.
The free night of ideas and tracks in the making made QUAD its new home in Derby.
Participants were able to submit their Head-Knod/Snare-Snap/Sub-woofer resonating beats/loops/sequences, whatever your tempo persuasion to be heard out loud amongst a likeminded audience ready to be played on the night.
Featuring DJ sets from local Derby based producers on rotation playing a 'Works and Inspirations' sets of their own productions and music that inspires their creative process.
CDR in the East Midlands is based on burntprogress’s hugely successful CDR night at London’s Plastic People – twice nominated ‘Best Club’ on Radio 1’s Worldwide Awards.
