FORMAT09 International Photography Festival took place between 6th March - 5th April 2009 throughout Derby city. The PHOTOCINEMA exhibitions in QUAD continued until 26th April.

FORMAT is the UK’s leading contemporary photography and media festival that celebrates the wealth of contemporary practice in photography from over 30 countries. With 200+ photographers, 20 venues and 4 weeks - FORMAT is the place to see an incredible range of new work alongside the best known practitioners of the world.
