QUAD Members were treated to a free Sushi demonstration by Hiroko Clark before a film screening of the classic Japanese film Ugetsu Monogatari (PG) S.

Hiroko Clark (pronounced he-lo-ko) is a Japanese Cookery teacher who first came to England in 1989 when foreign food was not as widely eaten and exotic ingredients weren’t readily available. Now people enjoy foods from around the world, but still not much is known about Japanese cuisine. Hiroko introduced QUAD Members to some Japanese ideas in this friendly and informal demonstration, with tasting and a chance to have a go, in The Box at QUAD before the film.
