R / Evolution films by artists and filmmakers were shown on the digital screens around QUAD to mark the 150th anniversary of the R/evolutionary concepts from the 'Origin of the Species' by Charles Darwin.

This inspirational work continues to provoke dialogue and to rouse debate about humankind, science, religion, nature and society.

Works by: Esther Johnson, Michael Salkeld, Helena Hoon Lin Wee, Jin-man Kim, Andrew Martyn Sugars, Mal Young and a programme produced by Artsadmin/DVDance, commissioned by Channel 4, including Ackroyd and Harvey, Bobby Baker, Anne Bean, Lucy Cash, Curious, Graeme Miller, Henry Montes and Lemn Sissay.
