Graham Fellows returned to Derby with the film Southern Softies the sequel to It’s Nice Up North, which finds John Shuttleworth and his agent Ken exploring the Channel Islands to find out if people really are softer down south. With a special guest appearance from celebrated photographer Martin Parr, Southern Softies is driven through with the characteristic gentle humour and subtle gags we have come to expect from Fellows.

The screening was introduced by John Shuttleworth himself and was followed by a Q&A with Graham Fellows, creator of John Shuttleworth and director of Southern Softies.
