The Saturday Morning Picture Show
QUAD recreated a Saturday Morning Picture Show complete with a Public Information short, a Children’s Film Foundation film and a screening of the feature film Thunderbirds Are Go!.

The Lost Worlds Of ITV Children’s Drama
In the afternoon we started to explore the lost world of ITV children’s drama with screenings of Ace Of Wands, Timeslip and the rarely seen Jukes Of Piccadilly (starring Nigel Hawthorne). We were joined by Ruth Boswell (Producer of Timeslip and Jukes Of Piccadilly), Steve Hardy, Andrew Thompson (Timeslip - Beyond The Barrier) and many more to discuss the past, present and future of Children’s Drama.

Timeslip – Beyond The Barrier
A regional premiere of the documentary exploring the ITV Children’s Drama Timeslip, a rarely seen classic of children’s drama from 1970. The ATV produced series is explored in depth with interviews from Cheryl Burfield, Spencer Banks, Ruth Boswell, Iris Russell, Ian Fairbairn and many more. Produced right here in Derby.

Television Rarities
Our rarities slot included an episode The Corridor People (described as David Lynch does The Avengers!).  Plus a rare screening of Counterstike, Britain’s answer to The Invaders starring Jon Finch (The Vampire Lovers, The Final Programme).

Doctor Who – The Caves Of Androzani with special guests Nicola Bryant and Maurice Roeves
Finally we rounded off our day with an evening screening of the Doctor Who adventure The Caves Of Androzani, with very special guests Nicola Bryant (Peri) and Maurice Roeves (Stolz). This screening included all 4 episodes - the complete story on the big screen.
