An exhibition event showcasing the exciting diversity, range and quality of FASED members' work. Film, digital projection, live art, sculpture and seminars take place at three venues: Q Arts, Derby Dance Centre and The Guildhall.
Aidan Shingler makes a welcome return to Q Arts with his ongoing critique of psychiatric abuse. Dave Everitt contrasts the warmth of the human heartbeat with the strict structures of mathematics and artificial intelligence. Claire Armstrong's film explores the cartography of the mind, body and soul.
FASED is a regional professional association of freelance and self-employed disabled people working in the arts. Membership encompasses a broad range of artform practitioners, consultants and arts managers, with a wide range of experience - from artists with an international reputation to people at the beginning of their freelance careers. FASED offers a programme of professional development and networking opportunities and membership is open to any arts worker who is disabled and who works, or intends to work, freelance.
We Are Here includes a networking day where potential commissioners of work will be invited to meet FASED members to see and discuss their work. For more information contact FASED.
