From 1849 Melville-esque sea voyage, to a penniless composer in 1936 Edinburgh, to the Watergate ‘70s conspiracies and present day nursing homes and into the far flung future with clones and post-apocalyptic tribal cultures. With Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugh Grant, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Ben Whishaw, Susan Sarandon and more playing multiple roles through multiple stories, this is a film that demands big screen attention.
