Respected Turkish filmmaker Reha Erdem is relatively unknown on UK screens, but this assured and beautifully shot movie should change that. An allegory centred around a cheerful young man who arrives in an unnamed town, saving a young child and performing other ‘miracles’, the town is left with the question, who is this man?
