1 million customers!

Wednesday 19th September

We congratulated our one millionth visitor who attended a screening of Anna Karenina today. They were presented with a years’ QUAD Membership and a bottle of Champagne. We achieved the one millionth visitor landmark just one week short of our fourth birthday (we opened on 26th September 2008).

Keith Jeffrey, QUAD CEO said “We are delighted to announce our millionth visitor. This feels like a landmark point for QUAD and we are immensely proud of this achievement, which we have reached ahead of the ambitious plans we had before we even opened. This shows we have established ourselves in the hearts and minds of the people of Derby and beyond and we would like to thank all our customers from over the past four years for their tremendous support”.

“2011/12 saw QUAD building substantially on its success with substantial growth in our audiences, in sharp contrast to nearly every other major capital project launched in the last 20 years. QUAD’s ‘like for like’ footfall and people engaging with the programme grew by 4% and the figures for education and participation for young people and adults are also phenomenal.”

We also recently announced results from our 2011/2012 annual report, which includes the following key performance indicators from the past 12 months:

  • 316, 317 Visitors and programme engagement attendances
  • £1.6million worth of Marketing Value
  • £5.4million worth of Economic Impact
  • 7,481 adults involved in Education and Participatory work
  • 10,982 children and young people involved in Education and Participatory work
