QUAD needs your vote!
Wednesday 20th February
We’re bidding to run an event for Museums at Night on the 18th May. Included in the prize is Cullinan and Richards – an artists collective who are a brilliant, inventive duo who are willing to work with us to make an amazing event.
QUAD will be working with the Erik Kessels exhibition to make a fly through film which the public will be able to put themselves into using green screen technology. Participants will be able to choose costumes and dress as characters inspired by images from the exhibition, using the experience to imagine stories, scenarios and other worlds and giving torchlit gallery tours of the exhibition. The exhibition journeys will be lead by our Young Writers Group using storytelling techniques as a starting point for their tours, inspiring the audience to become involved. The more fantastical and ridiculous the story, the better!
These stories will be captured in a variety of ways: there will be a green screen, where participants will be able to narrate their story against a film made from the Album Beauty photographs and installation. Visitors can make their own digital comic book using images from the exhibition and take it home as a souvenir.
We need you to help us make this event a reality so please vote for QUAD by clicking here, and encourage your friends to do the same! We’ve only got until 5pm on the 5th of March to get votes, so time is of the essence!
