QUAD is part of the Arts Award Welcome scheme.
Arts Award Welcome centres like QUAD support young people to achieve their Arts Award by offering activities, events or access to professionals.
Are you working towards an Arts Award?
QUAD is open seven days a week and many activities are FREE, including visiting the gallery and other exhibitions. The exhibition programme includes work from local, national and international artists. Artforms include artists film and digital media, to painting, sculpture and photography.
The Gallery exhibition changes approximately every 10 weeks. Exhibitions are also displayed on the wall and corridor space, as well as the digital screens. There is also an ongoing programme of artists talks and curatorial tours.

QUAD also has two Cinema screens showing the best in independent, world and Hollywood cinema, look out for regular special events, guest introductions, film seasons and film courses.
The BFI Mediatheque at QUAD is also FREE to use, it is an exciting collection of film and television from the British Film Institute's National Archive, from locally made documentaries and home movies to classics of British cinema and television.
