Blast Work
The work below was created by QUAD artists working with young people as part of the BBC Blast event that took place on Derby's Market Place 25-28 June 2008.
Blast inspires 13-19 year olds to get creative and develop skills in turning ideas about art, dance, film, music, writing and games into reality.
Blast on tour in Derby had free workshops and sessions on all things creative. QUAD organised a series of drop-in sessions in things like VJ-ing and also creating an evolving collage of sound and images on the BBC Big Screen.
