Portrait of a Nation
QUAD's Youth Forum have been involved in a national project called Portrait of a Nation. The project wanted to know what young people thought of their cities, history, culture and how they saw the future for their city.
On 1-2 December 2008 young people from 17 cities in Britain travelled to Liverpool (The European Capital of Culture) to display work and perform through music, dance and drama. They took part in debates, shared ideas and learnt about the culture of each other's cities. It was a great experience for the group and they hope there will be a similar event this year!
