February is a month of... V.I.P.s

A plethora of special guests will be joining us in February as QUAD becomes awash with V.I.P.s.

Billy Bragg, one of the UK’s most celebrated musicians, is joining us for a live performance and discussion around the film Breaking Rocks which documents the Jail Guitar doors initiative that Bragg established to use music as a tool to rehabilitate prisoners.

A favourite with Metro audiences, Graham Fellows AKA John Shuttleworth, will be coming to QUAD for the first time with his new film Southern Softies  the follow up to the very popular It’s Nice Up North.

We are pleased to be able to announce our first event in partnership with BAFTA that will take place this month and will see star of stage and screen David Morrissey (currently appearing in Nowhere Boy) coming to QUAD to discuss his     directorial debut with the film Don’t Worry About Me

Alongside these fantastic films and events, the Gallery features an exhibition of the multimedia artist Ian Breakwell, the most important artist to come from Derby since Joseph Wright.

QUAD is supported by The Arts Council England and Derby City Council
