January is a month of... Icons because we are blessed with the opportunity to show a fantastic range of films featuring iconic actors, made by iconic Directors or simply because the films themselves have become iconic in the hearts and minds of viewers.
Our headline act this month is one of the most talked about (including discussion in Oscar circles) films of recent times, Nine featuring the iconic actress Sophia Loren alongside an all-star cast.
We are also delighted to be able to show the directorial debut feature Nowhere Boy by celebrated contemporary artist Sam Taylor-Wood, somewhat an icon herself, which centres around the life of the musically iconic John Lennon.
You will also see John Hurt CBE (QUAD Patron), Humphrey Bogart, Orson Welles and Ian Dury amongst other iconic performers past, present and future.
