The Scouting Book For Boys

Review by Young Person's Critique Circle part of the 'Fusion' Project 'Inspiring Derby's Young People through Art, Culture & Heritage'
UK 2010 Dir. Tom Harper
This film has strong narrative and the cinematography is superb at times it feels overplayed however this has a very profound effect on the story.
The story has you hooked all the way and the outcome is far from predictable the script is the glue in this film that holds all of the uncertainties together.
The character of Steven is one to look out for. Only a small part but so significant to the plot. Steven character challenges you and asks you to consider your own perception on trust.
“You two could finish each other sentences”
This film is well worth checking out and you will certainly need a few seconds to compose your thoughts as the end credits roll!
