An Epic Journey with Alison Lloyd and the Contemporary Art of Walking

There is a single word often used by hill walkers and climbers when they want to describe a walk or climb that has failed in some way, or not gone entirely to plan; they call it the 'Epic'. Following a successful art ‘expedition’ navigating the East Side in Birmingham for the ‘Still Walking’ Festival join experienced walker Alison Lloyd on a day long walk from Derby City Centre to explore the thin line between disaster and deliverance. Failure may be an option, but this walk will take place under the safest of conditions!
