Following the success of outdoor screenings in 2011 and 2012 the Summer Nights Film Festival 2013 brings fantastic classic and contemporary films together with fabulous locations throughout the region, all presented on a giant screen by QUAD, Derby's centre for art and film.

Bring your picnic and your friends or if you would rather, sample the tasty treats on offer at each venue and enjoy the splendour of the great outdoors along with films to stimulate your senses and create the perfect cinematic experience at venues you will never forget.

Derbyshire and the Peak District have long been the filming location for hit films such as Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter and Women in Love and now you can see films in some of these fabulous locations.

Watching a film with a stately home as a backdrop has to be seen to be believed as your will be whisked away into a magical filmic dreamland.
