QUAD will temporarily close from Wednesday 4th November.
QUAD will again be temporarily closed to the public following government guidance, from Wednesday 4th November. QUAD Cinema, Gallery, Café bar and workshops will be closed during this period.
We will continue to update the website and social media channels for full information and any further updates. QUAD Box Office Team will be contacting any customers who have booked tickets for screenings or events from Wednesday 4th November. A ‘Virtual QUAD’ will provide a limited offer of film events and workshops online through the QUAD website.
“We will work through these challenging circumstances and recognise that the safety of our community is paramount. We hope this will be a short, temporary closure and that in the meantime QUAD can continue to be crucial to the everyday life of our community, providing entertainment, education and inspiration.
We are grateful to our funders and supporters for helping to see that we survive, we have received major grants and donations from Arts Council England, and the Paul Hamlyn foundation to help us to ensure that we will be able to open again.
We would also like to thank customers for their continued support, which has never been more crucial. If you have booked tickets for events or screenings from 4th November we are able to credit your account or offer a refund. However, at the moment every penny counts, and these can be instead used as a donation to QUAD.
If you are able to support us further you can simply buy a QUAD membership, for yourself or as a gift, buy a seat or give a donation of any amount. Now, more than ever, your support is vital, and you will be helping us to open our doors again when possible.”
Brian Walsh OBE, Chair and Adam Buss QUAD CEO
