QUAD welcomes the return of our Family Friendly activities with Listen Love Learn with artist Charlotte Tupper or practitioner Heather Louise Hepworth.
Listen Love Learn is a weekly creative programme for families with children under 5 years. It aims to enhance the participant’s confidence, support social inclusion and promote positive health and wellbeing, whilst engaging all participants in fun, creative and stimulating activities.
The sessions are very informal and set in a relaxed environment.
Upcoming sessions and activities include:
- 7th September: Welcome session
- 14th September: Welcome session
- 21st September: Activity to be announced soon
- 28th September: Activity to announced soon
The first set of Listen Love Learn sessions will be delivered by artist Charlotte Tupper (https://www.thetuppermuseum.org/about). Charlotte will deliver a series of multisensory sessions encouraging curiosity, communication and cooperation through creativity. Using an array of everyday, familiar and unusual materials, each week offers a different theme to explore through hands on activities. Come and play with your tiny tot as well as socialise with other parents.
Whilst Listen Love Learn has been postponed due to the coronavirus, Stacey Murray, has shared some short activities you can do with your family during lockdown. The videos are available to watch on our QUAD Participate Youtube Page.
