Online Make and Take is a virtual version of QUAD’s popular free creative workshops, usually held at the venue during half-terms and holidays. Suitable for families with children aged three and above, there will be two Zoom sessions welcoming in the theme of Spring, led by local artist Helen Jackson.
The sessions have been organised to use art, craft and recyclable materials that people already have at home. Families will need a PC, laptop or tablet with Zoom enabled, plus pens, pencils, a ruler, scissors, tape or glue, card (cereal boxes or other lightweight packaging) and coloured paper (old newspapers magazines or wrapping paper).
Friday 9th April – Making a cardboard spring scene with 3D trees.
Friday 16th April – Making cardboard Insects and wildlife.
Pre-booking is essential and places need to be secured by the Wednesday prior to the workshop date, please supply an email address and telephone number when booking for the Zoom joining instructions.
