QUAD to host a 24 Hour Horror Movie Cinema Marathon in June

QUAD in Derby will hosts “the ultimate cinematic horror experience” in June with a twenty-four-hour horror movie marathon. The DMP Summer Scare-A-Thon-24 Hour Horror Movie Cinema Marathon includes fourteen classic digitally remastered films which will be shown back-to-back, the evening will also feature horror movie trivia and prize giveaways. Screenings will start at 6:15pm and include the following feature films: Hellraiser (1987), Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 (1988), Demons (1985), Demons 2 (1986), The Stuff (1985), Blood Feast (1963), The Wizard of Gore (1970), Audition (1999), Ringu (1998), The Crazies (1973), SLUGS (1988), The Burning (1981), Children of the Corn (1984) and finally Creepshow 2 (1987).
 
Adam Marsh, QUAD Cinema Programmer said: “This a rare chance to see some real classic horror all on the same night, plus the QUAD bar will be open all night so you’ll be able to fuel up on coffee to see you to daylight!
 
The DMP Summer Scare-A-Thon-24 Hour Horror Movie Cinema Marathon (certificate 18) takes place in QUAD on Friday 3rd June from 6:00pm, the event will end at 6:00pm on Saturday 4th June.
