These embroidered felt eggs will bring some festive cheer to decorate your home, or are lovely small gifts. The template suggest some ideas for decoration, and the images offer more – you can copy one, or create your own.
To make your egg you will need:
· Felt
· Embroidery threads
· Stuffing
· Thread or ribbon to hang
· Egg template
· Scissors
· Needle
If you don’t have any felt, you can order online from the usual places – at the moment they still seem to be delivering.

· Any fabric ( cotton works well) 20 cm x 11 cm (or any size with apx 2: 1 ratio)
· Thread
· Filling – soft stuffing and about 3 tablespoons of dried rice, lentils, beans etc.
· Small felt scraps for comb, beak and wattle
· Button/beads for eyes – optional
· Scissors
· Needle, pins
