QUAD in Derby is seeking a UK-based artist who works with digital/creative new media to undertake a one-week residency (onsite or remotely) and to deliver one or two participation workshops in person in mid to late 2024. We would also like to offer the successful artist an exhibition of their work (existing work, or one new work if appropriate – or a combination of both) in our Extra Gallery Spaces across late 2024, into early 2025. We are open to discussion for these activities in terms of duration and length/ scale of engagement.

The residency/ workshop(s) will take place in July/ August 2024 (dates TBC)

The exhibition will take place between 21 September 2024 to late January/ early February 2025 (final end date TBC)

Financial contribution: A fee of £1500 will be available for the exhibition and an additional £500 available as fees for workshops. In addition, there will be a £500 travel and accommodation bursary for site visits for workshops, and exhibition install/ private view. There will also be a budget for exhibition installation costs.
