Summer Of Play – Season Launch

FREE family-friendly activities! Celebrate the Summer of Play!

From 12pm – 4pm we have a range of free activities:

All-day: Drop-in creative art activities in our Play & Display Gallery workshop space.
2pm: Artist John Whall will be in Gallery 1 talking about his exhibition Passage to PlayLAND.
3pm: Artist Tracey Meek will be in the Extra Gallery Spaces talking about her exhibition (Isolation) Art Mail.

Passage to PlayLAND brings together PlayLAB and PlayLAND which are shared, playful experiences that invite the gallery visitor to fully engage with the physical space and to consider play in their local environment. Both projects were commissioned and originally exhibited at LEVEL Centre, Rowsley, and have been adapted for QUAD.
