With a sharp script, great performances and just the right amount and kind of cartoonish antics the film manages to be incredibly funny, wildly engaging and a bonkers feast for the eyes” - Film School Rejects

Inept rookie cop Reiji Kikukawa falls short of busting a city councillor who's caught molesting a teenage girl. Fired without ceremony, he is quickly rehired for an undercover mission to infiltrate a Yakuza clan. Reiji soon befriends Crazy Papillon, No. 2 in the gang, who shares Reiji's taste in fashion as well as his distaste for drugs. But how far will Reiji go in the underworld to bring down the gangsters? Highly entertaining and hilarious Yakuza film by master filmmaker Takashi Miike (Audition, Blade Of The Immortal).
