Satori Screen
Satori Screen is QUAD’s monthly night bringing rare opportunities to see East Asian cinema on the big screen, introduced by Asian Film Fanatic Peter Munford.

Train To Busan / Seoul Station Double Bill (15)

In 2016 animation director Sang-ho Yeon (The King Of Pigs) moved into live action film-making with the train-bound zombie thriller Train To Busan. The result was the surprise horror hit of the year, gaining spectacular reviews and grossing almost $100 million dollars at the international box office. Alongside production of Train To Busan, director Yeon was also hard at work on Seoul Station, an animated prequel which tells the story of the origins of the zombie virus featured in Train To Busan. Both have been praised as setting new standards in the zombie genre.

To mark the fifth birthday of QUAD’s Asian movie night Satori Screen we offer a rare chance to see both films up on the big screen. Its sure to be a night filled with all the thrills, spills and zombie kills you could ever want.

Tickets: £12, £10 concessions & £7.00 (16 - 25’s - must show proof of date of birth at box office.)
