John Dahl’s neo noir came on the back of two very fine neo noirs in Kill Me Again and Red Rock West, but The Last Seduction featured an all-time great femme fatale in Bridget Gregory (Linda Fiorentino). Self interested and willing to achieve her ends by any means, she washes up in Beston, a tiny town in New York State, having made off with the ill-gotten gains of a drugs deal. She soon ensnares Mike (Peter Berg) into her web and starts living a suburban life. Needless to say her hardboiled past catches up with her, with her robbed husband hot on her trail.

Presented in 35mm.

The screening on Monday 27th November at 6:10pm will be introduced by journalist and film critic Nigel Powlson.

Part of QUAD's Thrillers season. See all fifteen films in this season with a Thriller Season Pass.
