Free family-friendly FORMAT festival event at Creswell Crags

24 March 2017
Join us for a FREE family-friendly FORMAT festival event at Creswell Crags on Sunday 26th March, where partners First Art will be launching the Flâneur: New Urban Narratives season.

The Flâneur project includes photography from ex-mining areas in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, near Creswell Craggs, by artists Tom Hunter, Liz Hingley, and Discipula.

The event will also offer a chance to see the ancient caves come to colourful life with digital projections by Rebecca Smith of Urban Projections, take a ride with Pif-Paf Theatre on their unique fly and submer-cycles and to listen to music from Creswell Colliery Brass and the Whitwell Community Choir. The event at Creswell Crags is free and takes place on Mother’s Day, Sunday 26th March from 11:30am to 4:30pm.

There is also a free bus to the event, leaving from QUAD at 12.30pm (meeting at 12pm).

Book a place on the free bus here.
