Cinema At Home – View new film Minari (12) and support QUAD
QUAD is delighted to have teamed up with Altitude Films to bring you brand new film Minari (12) which you can stream in your home, directly supporting us during our lockdown closure. Minari (12) has been nominated for 6 awards at the upcoming 2021 Oscars including Best Film, Best Actor (Steven Yeun), Best Supporting Actress (Youn Yuh-jung), Best Director (Lee Isaac Chung) & Best Screenplay (Lee Isaac Chung).
A tender and sweeping story about what roots us, Minari follows a Korean-American family that moves to a tiny Arkansas farm in search of their own American dream. The family home changes completely with the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed but incredibly loving grandmother. Amidst the instability and challenges of this new life in the rugged Ozarks, Minari shows the undeniable resilience of what makes a family and what really makes a home.
“It is a film in which the details, the child’s-eye-view episodes, the calamities, the tenderly remembered touches, all sing together like a choir” ★★★★★ Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian
A 48 Hour rental of Minari (12), costing £9.99, can be pre-ordered now. The film will become available on 2 April.
QUAD is a registered charity.
