This online talk was part of QUAD’s season of Artificial Intelligence (a season featuring the exhibitions ‘How We Make Meaning’ currently in QUAD Gallery with work by Memo Akten and Mimi Ọnụọha, and in the Extra Gallery Spaces by Tom K Kemp – see links below) that examines the various aspects of what AI is today, how artists react to it and what it means for the wider the world. This talk also looks at machine learning and the collection and use of data.
