Residency Reflections: Hui Wai-Keung
Following on from his recent week-long takeover of the QUAD Gallery Instagram page, as part of the online Peer to Peer festival (www.peertopeerexchange.org) artist Hui Wai-Keung talks in this short film about his work and inspirations, along with QUAD Senior Curator Peter Bonnell and chaired by QUAD Assistant Curator Laura O’Leary.

For his online residency with QUAD, the digital media artist and Hong Kong resident Hui Wai-Keung explored the possibilities of selected images being manipulated and fabricated as if seen through the perception and conception of a machine – or more precisely, Artificial Intelligence.
