The Drill introduce our next speaker, Freda Isingoma, for The Drill #3: Art x Money

Freda Isingoma is an entrepreneur and ex-investment banking professional who has worked in multinational and leading investment institutions in the UK, US and South Africa. 
 
She has 20 years’ experience in establishing successful business initiatives, and managing investment funds. This includes her role as a venture capitalist for an award winning team at Close Brothers Group (UK) and Investec Asset Management in Cape Town. 
 
She holds both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Economics. Freda is passionate about art and has been collecting Contemporary African and Diaspora art for 20 years. In 2018 she founded @kiisa_art. 
 
KIISA provides innovative investment funds and impact solutions that drive the growth, visibility, knowledge and sustainability of the Contemporary African and Diaspora art market as well as strategic advice, research and due diligence on art patronage, investment, and market positioning for businesses within the art eco-system. 
 
She speaks at international platforms discussing art as an alternative asset, collecting and the impact of art investment on the global art world. Freda is a member of the Zimbabwe Pavilion Advisory Committee for the upcoming Venice Biennale in 2022.
