Adam Buss, Director of City of Culture Bid said “City of Culture 2025 is a huge opportunity for Derby and as part of that for QUAD, as a leading cultural organisation in the city. A central theme of Derby’s bid for City of Culture is ‘Building from within’ which is a recognition that Derby is brimming with talent, and we want to support and develop that to create a strong legacy for the future. QUAD has always led the way through its exploration of contemporary art, independent film and digital media and all of those elements will have to be key components of a successful, diverse and inclusive city of culture programme.”
