Mami rarely leaves home since she dropped out from school. Cooped up in her room full of books and comics, she immerses herself in copying her favourite manga illustrations. One day, her father Eisuke finds Mami a part-time job he thinks will suit her interests - a video game tester. She accepts, thinking she can keep herself to herself, until her colleague Ryotro discovers her talent for drawing. A whimsical slice of life, following the adventures of a hikikomori (shut-in) as she bravely steps out of her comfort zone to re-join society.
