The latest addition in the long running Puppet Master franchise is a reimagining of the horror-comedy with all the gory practical special affects you can imagine! Edgar (Thomas Lennon) is recently divorced and returns to his childhood home where he finds a nefarious looking puppet in his deceased brother’s room. He decides to sell the doll for some quick cash at a small-town convention celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the infamous Toulon Murders. All hell breaks loose when a strange force animates the puppets at the convention, setting them on a bloody killing spree that’s motivated by an evil as old as time. S. Craig Zahler (Bone Tomahawk, Dragged Across Concrete) provides the screenplay for this 21st Century take on the 80s franchise. Caution: Contains scenes of Puppetry Violence!
The screening at 8:45pm on Friday 31 May will be introduced by Fright Club's Darrell Buxton.
