Caroline Lea’s debut The Glass Woman was one of the leading supernatural fiction titles of 2019, a rich and captivating tale of superstition, salvation, love and fear set in the remote reaches of 17th Century Iceland. When Rosa finds herself betrothed to Jon Eiriksson, she enters a world of secrets and threats, and must battle a darkness will consume her. Her latest title, The Metal Heart, is an atmospheric tale set on Orkney during World War II exploring trust and mistrust between prisoners of war and the local inhabitants and drawing upon the myths and legends of the Orkney Islands.
Caroline will be taking part in a reading, interview and audience Q+A, as well as signing her books on the night.
