Young Creatives


QUAD’s Young Creatives
is a group of young people (aged 14-19) who delve into QUAD’s exhibition themes and create their own artwork with fresh interpretations and visions.

Upcoming projects:


Summer term: Sketching and drawing
Saturday 23 June, 10.30am – 1.00pm
Local artist Phil Moss will lead a half day urban sketching class near QUAD, or in and around the building if the weather is poor.
 
Summer holidays film making
Tuesday 31 July, Wednesday 1 August and Thursday 2 August
10.30am – 3.00pm
Join award winning film makers Darren and Suzanne from Junction 15 for a three day film making masterclass at QUAD, to make a creative/abstract film in response to our Gallery exhibition by Joey Holder
 
Autumn term FORMAT19 photography project

Saturdays, 15 September, 6 and 27 October, 10 November, 8 December and 12 January
10.30am – 1.00pm
Work with pro-photographer David Severn to make, curate and exhibit your photos at FORMAT International Photography Festival in Derby
