QUAD Essentials - Cinema Rediscovered on Tour

QUAD Essentials takes a dive into the 'forgotten' classics with Cinema Rediscovered this November. Each screening will feature a pre-recorded intro by a key cinema figure, plus we'll be hosting a post screening discussion with local film historian Darrell Buxton.

Following the 10th anniversary edition of the festival, taking place from Wed 22 to Sun 26 July in and around Bristol, UNESCO City of Film, Cinema Rediscovered launches a UK- and Ireland-wide tour of highlights celebrating the return of the big-screen experience from August 2026.

Cinema Rediscovered is a Watershed production, with the 10th edition presented in association with Bristol-based independent brewery Wiper and True, and made possible thanks to the support of the BFI Audience Projects Fund, awarding National Lottery funding, as well as principal sponsors Park Circus and STUDIOCANAL.
