A workshop looking at how cosmic horror, while being a subgenre capable of offering existential nightmares, utter bleakness and sanity-shattering revelations in its works, can also be a ripe source of comedy due to some of its tropes and the seriousness with which it can take itself. Alex De Gruchy presents is someone who loves cosmic horror but isn’t afraid to take the piss out of it, as they did in the novel The Eldritch Affair of the Cosmic Ne’er-do-wells: A Roustabouts Brouhaha..
