Osamu Tezuka is the creator known as "The God Of Manga" as Japan based on his outsize influence on the manga form. His 1949 series Metropolis was inspired by the famous 1926 silent classic and is set in a futuristic city at the height of its civilisation. Tima is a beautiful and mysterious female who does not realise that she is a humanoid robot. Tima must discover her true self and, with the help of a young man named Kenichi, begin to bridge the gap between humans and humanoid robots of Metropolis.
